Mawlānā Sadeekur Rahman
Mawlānā Sadeekur Rahman Miah was born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY. He completed his Ḥifẓ (memorization of the Qurʾān) in 2012. Following this, he pursued his ʿĀlim course at the esteemed Dār al-ʿUlūm Azaadville in South Africa, completing it in 2018. During his time in South Africa, he studied and received Ijāzah in Qirāʾāt ʿAsharah Kubrā (the ten major modes of Qurʾānic recitation).
From 2018 to 2019, Mawlānā Sadeekur Rahman dedicated a year to the path of Allah in India and Bangladesh, propagating the teachings of Islam to the general public while also benefiting from the company of many ʿUlamāʾ. He then spent three years specializing in the Islamic science of Ḥadīth at Markaz ad-Daʿwah in Bangladesh, from 2019 to 2022.
Currently, Mawlānā Sadeekur Rahman Miah serves as the Assistant Imām and teacher at Masjid Bilal in Long Island, a position he has held since 2022.
